    GNU Privacy Guard as implementation of the OpenPGP standard

    In version v20253.9.0 we added OpenPGP as Destination option.

    GnuPG is a complete and free implementation of the OpenPGP standard as defined by RFC4880 (also known as PGP). GnuPG allows you to encrypt and sign your data. GnuPG, also known as GPG.EXE, is a command line tool with features for easy integration with other applications.

    This destination will use the Command Line named GPG.exe. Installation setup is available at gpg4win.org

    We used version: Gpg4win 4.4.0 (Released: 2024-11-27)

    After installation GPG.EXE will be availble under ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\gnupg\bin’. Limagito x86 (32bit) and x64 (64bit) can both use this 32 bit version of GPG.EXE.

    You need to point the ‘GnuPG GPG.EXE’ option to this file in your OpenPGP as Destination setup, please have a look at the following screenshot:

    Don’t forget to adjust the Destination Directory too.

    We added the following Encrypt – Decrypt Methods:

    Encryption options:

    • Cipher Algorithm: IDEA, 3DES, CAST5, BLOWFISH, AES, AES192, AES256, TWOFISH, CAMELLIA128, CAMELLIA192, CAMELLIA256
    • Hash Algorithm: SHA1, RIPEMD160, SHA256, SHA384, SHA512, SHA224
    • Compression Algortihm: ZIP, ZLIB, BZIP2

    Decryption Options:

    Custom Options:

    In this example we added  –verbose  as custom parameter to get detailed logging.
