Q: We are trying to rename a file when it is sent to the destination. I am struggling to make this work. I have renamed files in the past when they have an extension already however these files do not have an extension. For example we want to move file test (no ext) to a new folder and add .dat to the end so the file in the new folder is called test.dat
A: The Destination has a File Rename option which uses Regular Expressions
Please have a look at the following screenshot:
RegEx: (.*)
Replacement: \1.dat
